I joined Dura to explore how graphic design could strengthen a fabrication company from within. What began as a technical role evolved into a design-led position focused on clarity, process, and communication.
At Dura, I worked across every stage of signage production—from design intent through fabrication. Our team handled a wide range of projects: healthcare signage for NewYork-Presbyterian and NYU Langone Health, real estate clients like 590 Madison Avenue, and large-scale architectural signage projects for design firms.
My work centered on developing visual communication systems that improved precision and consistency. I created templates, workflows, and documentation standards that accelerated approvals and unified how information moved between project teams and fabrication. This allowed us to approach projects not just as fabricators, but as signage consultants contributing to the design conversation.
